It's almost as if to say, "Well, we let Israel do it so why not Iran?" The difference is, of course to students of history, Israel had not promised to destroy other countries, nor had the track record of horrendous human rights violations as Iran does (not to mention, didn't hate us and call us "The Great Satan").
The strange thing is, I bet the Left in this country and abroad doesn't even know why they hate Israel. I'm not sure I even know why they do. You would think a tiny little country surrounded by millions of enemies who hate them and call for their destruction on a daily basis would draw emotional and political support from the Left. But as far back as I can remember, Israel has always been portrayed as the bad guys by the Left.
Hmmm... it makes one wonder.
The only explanation I can really come up with for why this is the case is... well "religious" in nature and probably would place me in the camp of the religious zealot nutcases in the mind of the so-called "open-minded" crowd.
Still, Iran=Israel now? Come on MSM, even you have to have some objectivity...
